Brown Bag Lunch Discussion

Join us for an engaging lunch discussion with Dr. Al Erisman, former Director of Technology at Boeing and co-author of Living with Purpose in a Polarizing World: Guidance from Biblical Narratives. Along with co-author Randy Pope, City Attorney of Hattiesburg, Al will share insights on thriving as Christians in today’s complex workplace environment.

The conversation will be led by Randy’s daughter Lucy Schultze, a former local journalist and CEO of Red Window Communications in Oxford.

Drawing from their book and extensive experience, our speakers will explore:

  • Biblical wisdom for workplace challenges
  • Practical strategies for maintaining faith and integrity
  • Lessons from twelve biblical figures who navigated similar circumstances
  • Approaches to fostering unity in polarized environments

This interactive discussion will offer valuable perspectives for anyone seeking to integrate life, faith, and work more meaningfully.

About Al Erisman: Senior Fellow at the Center for Integrity in Business at Seattle Pacific University, co-founder of Ethix magazine, and former Boeing executive, Al brings decades of experience in bridging faith and workplace culture.

About Randy Pope: An attorney since 1979, Randy completed a M.A. in Religion at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with an emphasis in workplace theology, ethics and leadership in 2017. He has taught on the intersection of faith and work in Hattiesburg.
