At OU, we offer exciting ways for kids to get involved in the life of the Church and grow in their faith. Throughout the year, OU Kids offers young children–babies through 6th grade–many fun and purposeful activities to engage and nurture their growing minds and hearts. With Sunday School every week, family-focused community events, a loving nursery during worship, and ways for kids to participate in worship services, your children are a beloved part of OU.

Nursery
Our nursery is open every Sunday, for kids 3 and under! If you have any questions, send them to nursery@ouumc.org. We look forward to seeing you!
Kids in Worship
We are so excited to have your kids in our services! If you need some worship activities for your kid, worship binders are available each Sunday. Take any crafts and art home with you, and return the binder to the narthex before you leave.
The nursery is available for all three services.
Kids Serving in Worship
Serving is a vital part of discipleship, and we offer several ways for kids to serve at OU.
Acolytes
Our acolyte program is open for kids in 4th-9th grades for both traditional services. We need one acolyte in the 8:45 service and 3 in the 11:00 service. Acolyte training (for all new acolytes and a refresher for current acolytes) will be Sunday, August 18, at 4 PM or Tuesday, August 20, at 6 PM. Sign up your acolyte to serve here!
Scripture Readers
We love having OU Kids read scripture in any of our worship services. If your child would like to read scripture, please email Emilie Bramlett!
Greeters or Communion Servers–for the family!
